CN Tower

No trip to Toronto would be complete without a visit to the CN Tower. Being a native of the area, I have been to this attraction many time.

You get an unparalleled view of the city, if you’re hungry,  you can dine at the revolving restaurant 360, and now you can add a bit of thrill-seeking to your visit by partaking in the Edge walk which has you walking around the circumference of the roof of the main pod 356m/1168ft above the ground!

The Beaches in Toronto

Toronto’s waterfront stretches for 28 miles along the shore of Lake Ontario.
Toronto has such diverse neighbourhoods that have such unique personalities; it’s hard to limit it to just a couple.
Most non-Torontonians don’t realize that you can bask on the beach in Toronto – and while it’s not quite the pristine white tropical beaches of Fiji, Toronto’s Beaches community is a summer hotspot amongst those who like to stick around the city.
Both family friendly and complete with great cafes and restaurants, The Beaches is a favorite amongst tourists and locals alike.

Center Island

If you’re looking for a day away from the city, Center Island is connected via bridges and paths for a fantastic outdoor adventure. Everything from bike and kayak rentals to the Centerville Amusement Park with a carousel, bumper cars and mini-golf. Throw in beaches, picnic areas and 200-year-old lighthouse, and it’s all just a 13-minute ferry ride from downtown.

Casa Loma

The majestic castle of casa loma sites in midtown Toronto. It took more than 300 laborers over three years to build the Gothic Revival-style building and its 98 rooms. Amenities include an oven large enough to roast an ox, an 800-foot tunnel and a five-acre garden. Several movies have been filmed here too, including X-Men, Chicago and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
